You know all the things.
You're still not free.
That is not your fault.
Intuitive eating gave you the principles. What it was never designed to give you is the groundwork โ the mindset work, the body image work, the emotional skills that make new learning land in your body instead of staying in your head.
That's the Groundwork. And it's what's been missing.
The programs you did were
built on two assumptions.
Neither was named. Neither was your fault.
Neither was true. And when those foundations are missing, new learning stays intellectual. It makes sense in your head. It doesn't land in your body.
The Going Beyond The Food Method is what closes that gap. And Groundwork is where you experience it.
The science of becoming
the version of you who is free.
The Going Beyond The Food Method is a weight-neutral health framework that integrates cognitive behavioral coaching, body image work, feminist theory, and intersectional analysis into a single approach to food, body, and behavior change.
At the center is Future Self work โ identity work grounded in the science of behavior change.
Your brain has no natural neural pathway for thinking about your future self. Research shows it requires intentional training. Without that training, no matter what principles you learn, your current identity keeps pulling your behavior back. That is neuroscience, not weakness.
What you move through
inside Groundwork.
Every layer is worked through in yourself first. That is the whole point. You submit a written check-in each week. Stephanie reads it and records a personal audio response for you โ under five minutes, specific to what you shared, her eyes on your patterns and your history.
-
Layer 1
Meet Your Future SelfYou name what you actually want โ not what you've been told to want. You craft the new relationship to yourself and your body.
-
Layer 2
The Becoming RoadmapWe plan the identity shift step by step. You map the gap between who you are now and who you are becoming โ and build the bridge.
-
Layer 3
Coach Yourself Into BecomingCognitive behavioral coaching made practical. You learn to see your own thought patterns and work with them instead of against them.
-
Layer 4
Regulate YourselfBuild your interoception skills. Learn to feel what's happening in your body and work with it โ instead of routing it through coping behaviors.
-
Layers 5-6
Body Image and Internal SafetyThe body image work that changes everything. You learn to feel safe in your body and with yourself.
-
Layer 7
Bet On YourselfYou practice making decisions from your future self and build new behaviors that are aligned with who you want to become.
-
Layer 8
Organic Self-WorthBuild the skills to cultivate your enoughness โ not from your body, your productivity, or anyone's approval.
-
Layers 9-10
Success, Happiness, and Self-AuthorizationYou redefine what success and happiness mean on your terms. You learn to authorize yourself โ to take up space, make decisions, and chase your big dreams.
When the intensive ends, the work continues. For up to one full year you stay inside the Groundwork community with access to all materials, plus a monthly group coaching call with Stephanie for continued support and advanced skill-building.
Three things. In this order.
Each one makes the next possible.
You learn to trust yourself.
It begins with food. Every time you overrode a hunger signal or followed a rule instead of your body, you practiced not trusting yourself. Groundwork reverses that practice โ slowly, with structure, with Stephanie's direct feedback on your specific patterns. Self-trust is a skill. This is where you build it.
You start to feel safe in your body.
When you stop fighting your body, something underneath the food shifts. You stop bracing. You stop waiting for the next failure. The body image work inside Groundwork is what makes this possible โ not intellectually, but in your actual lived experience.
You feel enough. Exactly as you are.
This is where the feminist and intersectional analysis becomes personal. Not feeling enough is a systemic issue, not a personal failure. You were handed a story about your body and your worth by systems that benefit from your self-doubt. Seeing that clearly โ in your own history and your own body โ is what changes it.
Groundwork is right for you if.
You've done the intuitive eating work and you're still not free. You understand everything intellectually. Something underneath is not shifting. You're ready to go to the belief and body image level.
You are a health professional who knows non-diet is right and knows you haven't fully lived it yet. You cannot take a client somewhere you haven't been yourself. Groundwork is how you get there first.
You are done trying to figure this out alone. You've read everything. You need to be inside a coaching relationship where someone sees you specifically and works with what's actually running underneath.
You are ready for real work, not more information. The layers inside Groundwork are not passive. You will be asked to look at what you actually believe, build your future self in specific detail, and build the behaviors from her every day.
I built this methodology
because it didn't exist.
I spent 25 years inside diet culture before I found my way out โ not by learning more principles, but by doing the identity and body image work at the center of Groundwork.
The Going Beyond The Food Method was built from 10 years of clinical practice and a decade of asking why the standard approach wasn't working โ for me, and for the hundreds of women I was seeing in my clinic. It integrates cognitive behavioral coaching, body image work, feminist theory, and intersectional analysis into a single coherent approach. You will not find it in any nutrition training. You will not find it in the intuitive eating literature.
The podcast has been running for 10 years. Over 1.4 million downloads. More than 1,000 women coached across 92 countries. Groundwork is where you experience this methodology from the inside โ not as a course, as a coaching relationship.
